The LifeBliss community is a private, intentionally curated safe space for Black women, free from the judgment, policing, and trolling that often exists in online platforms so you can finally exhale and show up fully for yourself.

LifeBliss is choosing  joy, pleasure, and freedom over performance, sacrifice, and survival.

LifeBliss isn’t about teaching women how to live, it’s about teaching them how to choose.

Because some of us are not only tired of hustle culture, but are also exhausted by performing the soft life aesthetic, when our actual soft life looks underdressed and doesn’t photograph well.

LifeBliss is the practice living with intentional, liberated, unbothered, unapologetic Black Joyand remembering that it was our birthright all along.

What does “Grown-Ass Woman version of Carefree Black Girl” mean?

It doesn’t mean being reckless or irresponsible.

It means refusing to organize your life around everyone else’s expectations while your own desires fade and disappear.

It means trusting yourself enough to delight in your own life without apology.

It means experiencing pleasure without guilt, rest without earning it first, and freedom without asking permission.

Why We Begin with a Manifesto

Most personal growth starts by telling you what to do.

LifeBliss starts somewhere different.

We begin by helping you remember who you are.

Before you can build a softer life.
Before you can make bold decisions.
Before you can stop postponing yourself.

You have to know what you actually want.

Not what sounds responsible.
Not what other people approve of.
Not the version you’ve edited to impress.

Your manifesto is the declaration of the woman you’re becoming.

It isn’t magic.

It isn’t a vision board.

The word manifesto comes from the root word manifest.

Manifesting isn’t magical thinking, it means making shit happen.

It’s getting radically clear about what you want so you’re ready to act when life opens the door.

It’s the document you’ll return to whenever life tries to pull you back into performance, sacrifice, and survival.

And here’s how we start: not with a course, not with homework, but with a manifesto.

Consider these questions:

  • Do you know what you really want for yourself at this point in your life going forward, in raw and extremely honest terms?
  • Does thinking about how to make your wildest dreams come true drain you and hurt your brain?
  • Have you modified your desires so they seem palatable and not ridiculous to the people around you? That’s called a half-assed dream.
  • What is the REAL way you want to live when there’s nobody there judging your ideas?
  • Is it possible you’re missing out on all kinds of joy because you have “reasonable and realistic” blinders on?
  • How are you gonna feel when you get close to the end of your life and all you did was walk the line and miss out? Is that feeling worse than feeling silly now for dreaming big?
  • Are you settling for the usual, typical, acceptable way to live out the rest of your days, even though it’s not really what you want?
  • Have you buried your real wants so deep that you no longer recognize or remember them?

Here’s how I know a manifesto works

My core values were scattered around in my on-again, off-again journals, a vision board, and even some of my art, over a span of almost two decades. Not deliberately. Not as some organized life-planning system. Just fragments here and there, whenever I got quiet enough to hear myself, or took a workshop.

One of those fragments was a photo of a beach house, stapled to the front of a stressed-out law student’s notebook back in 2000, because a friend told me to remember what I actually wanted. Another was a vision board I made in 2018, filled with images of Caribbean life, at a time when I had absolutely no idea if, or how, any of it could ever materialize. (It 100% has!)

These scattered pieces didn’t do anything magical on their own. They just sat there, quietly, on a bookshelf, waiting while life was lifin’.

Then my world as I knew it fell apart. An unexpected divorce and a regressive political climate pushed me to start looking for an immediate plan, because I didn’t have the answers. What I did have was a far-fetched long time dream that, in reality, turned out to be a pretty practical solution for the time.

It wasn’t supernatural, and there was no mystical bearded guru, it was just a set of raw, unfiltered desires, preserved and waiting.

Looking back, I realized that the photo, the vision board and scattered journal entries together became my personal manifesto.

It was preserving my truth until I was finally ready to live it.

When my life went to hell, I already knew what really mattered.

My manifesto had been quietly protecting the woman I wanted to become until I was finally ready to meet her.

Your manifesto doesn’t need to be scattered over two decades. You can create it with a purpose.

Your first 21 days inside LifeBliss

Your journey begins with the Soft Life Kickoff.

Over 21 days, you’ll move through thoughtful prompts that help you uncover your values, clarify your desires, and write the personal manifesto that will become your compass.

This isn’t homework, it’s much more interesting and fun.

It’s not another course to finish, you’re mapping out your dream life.

It’s the beginning of your LifeBliss practice.

Because becoming the Grown-Ass Woman version of Carefree Black Girl doesn’t happen in 21 days.

It happens one choice at a time.

Your manifesto simply gives those choices a direction.

Inside LifeBliss, you won’t just create a manifesto.

You’ll practice living it.

Every coaching conversation, every community discussion, and every reflection helps you choose joy over performance, pleasure over self-denial, and freedom over survival until those choices become second nature.

Life after your first 21 days

Your manifesto isn’t a document you write once and forget in a drawer.

Inside LifeBliss, we don’t just talk about joy, we practice it.

These are some of the practices you’ll return to again and again…

🍯 Nectar — your daily permission slip to actually feel good. Not someday, not when you’ve earned it. Today, in whatever size shows up, like a good smell, a slow Sunday afternoon, a solo trip you finally book.

☀️ Golden Hour — small rituals that honor your mind, body and spirit exactly as they are, right now, in this exact season of your life. No fixing required.

🕊️ Just Peace — some days you’re not manifesting anything. You’re just here. This is the space that holds and celebrates that, too.

You are deliberately building the ongoing practice of actually living the manifesto you built in your first 21 days.

LifeBliss is for you if…

✔ You’re ready to stop postponing your dreams.

✔ You want your next chapter to feel more joyful than productive.

✔ You’re tired of performing wealth when what you really want is freedom.

✔ You’re ready to tell yourself the truth about what you actually want.

✔ You’re willing to become the Grown-Ass Woman version of Carefree Black Girl, even if nobody around you understands it yet.

We’re done letting someone else decide what joy should look like.

We’re done confusing luxury with peace.

We’re done decorating lives we don’t enjoy living.

Black Joy is our birthright.

LifeBliss is the daily practice of reclaiming it.
