About LifeBliss
What is LifeBliss?

Midlife for Black women is a time to transition into a soft life, and our Grown-Ass Woman version of a Carefree Black Girl by choosing true happiness and freedom over performance, sacrifice, and survival.
But choosing that life is only the beginning. Living it is a daily practice.
LifeBliss is the practice of the soft life, a worldview and mindset built around inviting spiritual sensuality and everyday pleasure, instead of treating them as though they should be hard earned.
I’m Lisa, the founder of LifeBliss.
I believe that a soft life with intentional, unbothered, unapologetic Black Joy is our birthright.
I have several professional certifications, including life coaching, functional fitness conditioning and tantra kriya yoga, as well as a law degree from Howard University. But that’s the boring part.
What’s important for you to know is that I’m living LifeBliss every day. In my mid-50s facing divorce and a dangerous political reality I quit my good government job and moved to Trinidad and Tobago to live out my island girl solopreneur dream. I did this with creativity and few resources and still, I don’t have it all figured out yet. I’m living this journey through its ups and downs in real time and sharing it with you though LifeBliss Conversations.
